2.57 The Twelve Children

"One of Atalon's greatest inherited treasures was still locked away in the dungeons of the palace" Mina continued. "He decided to befriend the ancient Solarian king, now frail from centuries of torture and starvation, Sapparu was the last Original Nefilim alive, the only resource for translating the Phoenix Knowledge which Vina had denied them. Through Sapparu, Atalon learned of Gaia's Golden past and about The Time Coming, how Great Change had been foretold long ago.
Atalon vowed to use The Time to launch his New Empire. He ordered Sapparu to teach his siblings all the Knowledge Vina had denied them, dividing it up amongst them so that each one could master a part of it. With the guidance of a new understanding of the stars, he made a Grand Plan, gave the Educated Anunnaki godly titles, awarding them godly power over the slaves. Because of his divine wisdoms in these matters, he claimed the title, god of Divination, for himself.
Bakkon was the new Great Astronomer, and so Bakkon became god of the Skies. His job was to chart the progress of the Great Plan, to read the powerful directions laid out in the heavens.
Halki was given the title of Intelligence. It was his job to document the transformation, maintain libraries, publish information, map landscapes and gather data.
Halios was the strongest fighter, he took the history of Sol and it’s Archons very seriously and became expert in weapons and defense, so he was appointed the god of War."
Zara couldn't believe what she was hearing, how could an entire civilization have been lied to this badly?
"Halios never earned the title from a Great War?"
Mina shook her head with solemn seriousness. "Dion was the most handsome of the Anunnaki children" she continued with her description of the gods. "He had beautiful hair, a chiseled face, he was gifted with a natural passion for Beauty, and so he become the god of Beauty"
Zara shook her head in dismay now as memories of Dion's Salon returned, it hadn’t been all bad. This unbelievable story was making sense in scary ways, if it made sense, then it could be true, and since there was nothing but mythology to replace it, Zara felt herself at a crossroad called Belief. She listened carefully now, however, because she had questioned the origins of life.
"Sina and Lea were the most beautiful of the Anunnaki children, but they were hardly Archonic. Dominated by their Phoenix Flames, they were naive to their own powers and didn’t understand their own unhappiness. Atalon had made great use of them in the brothel, they had been like a lubrication between the Anunnaki and the Star People, they were happiest when they were caring for the babies so Atalon endowed them with the task of raising the Ultimate Slaves, appointing them goddesses of Love and Creation."
"Goddesses of Love and Creation?" Zara frowned, lost now. "You just said Love was illegal! It still is!"
"That's right. It was just one of Atalon’s Benevolent King deceptions" Mina explained.
Zara was getting so confused now, there had been nothing in any textbooks about any Sina or Lea. "Who are Sina and Lea? I've never heard of them before."
"Perhaps not directly" Mina replied. "They are no longer with us."
"Oh…" Zara sensed another long story.
"Medena was a natural goddess of Creation, she was born with the gifts of reproduction, she could produce and engineer more offspring than any of the Anunnaki children, most of the Gens are descendants from her bloodline. Thus, she became goddess of Plenty."
"WHAT?" Zara was reeling from Mina's audacity.
"It's true" Mina assured, continuing in spite of her objections. "Malodon was born with gifts of transformation; he could turn anything around or into something new. He studied the ancient arts of Design, Physics and Science. It was Malodon who transformed the fate of the brothels, and so Malodon became the god of Transformation.
We don't know much about Dr Seton" Mina continued. "He never appears in the really old texts, we think he’s new and came from a Lab. He appeared after Balaas disappeared. Some say Dr Seton is Balaas, and that Malodon transformed him. Others insist it isn't possible, because Balaas had ebony skin, like the Dogons."
Balaas was another name that Zara had never heard of before, she had wondered where the Dogons came in, this was perhaps the missing link.
"Balaas was one of the original Anunnaki children?"
"Yes" Mina assured. "He was more Phoenix than Archon too. No one really knows if he was replaced or transformed, but we all tend to agree that one or the other took place."
Images of Doctor Seton's holographic portrait flashed through Zara's mind, it had spooked her from the moment she first sat in the Moha Lab waiting room, it wasn’t just her, he was strange. Mina noticed her eyes wide open now, the light was beginning to shine inside.
"Like Sina and Lea, Baalas was alright, he was our friend, he warned us about the Firmary and was organizing an opposition party before suddenly one day he disappeared from existence and history.
Hedena was gifted with the arts of teaching" Mina continued. "She had proven to be one of the best Great Teachers, so was assigned the task of educating the Slaves with General Knowledge, making them equally productive. Thus Hedena was appointed the goddess of Conformity. Unlike Barduk, Atalon kept a watchful eye over the education of the new slaves, he didn’t award sole responsibility to one god, either. He filtered them out and assigned advanced education responsibilities to Medena and Dell.
Dell was the economic genius, and so Atalon granted him the responsibility of expanding economic growth, awarding him the title, god of Merchants."
"Dell's dead" Zara broke the news.
"Yes" Mina nodded. "We hear some news via Vikkar."
Zara could hardly believe her ears, this story was so twisted, yet somehow it was all making so much sense. How could she ever accept all this?
Her mind was completely fried.
"What about Orius?" Now she was wondering about the donor of her lost Product. "What about Torus and Vikkar?"
"They’re Origians. The Origians were the Love Lust Slave babies" Mina replied. "Orius and Vikkar are both Origians, I'm an Origian, Neter is an Origian, Nulu's one of the oldest Origians alive" she explained. "One of the first stolen babies."
"You're a Love Lust Slave Product?"
"Yes" she smiled. "There were four Origian races that evolved from the Lust Slaves, we were all given a different education. The Moon slaves were pale skinned with red hair, they were the children of Sina. The Dogon slaves had dark skin, black hair and olive-brown eyes, they were the children of Balaas. The New Star slaves had tan skin and blonde hair, they were the children of Dion, and the New Nefilim were a hybrid, a cross between Sapparu and Lust-slaves, they were engineered in the lab, most likely."
         "What about Torus?"
"We don't know Torus very well" she confessed. "He's new, he isn't an Origian."
"They say he is" Zara argued.
"He can’t be fully, perhaps in part." Mina replied. "He arrived after the Great Revolt. The Origians were Atalon's seeds for the new Empire. With these Ultimate Slaves, he truly believed he would bring Elon back once and for all."
