2.42 The Undead

"The Nefilim, Nummo and Star People were so successful in their endeavour, Gaia was gaining speed faster than the Archons could establish themselves as a Life Form" Jasun continued. "And the farther Gaia drifted away, the weaker Elon's reflective spirits became. Angry, Elon lashed out, but because Gaia was already out of reach, Elon missed and struck a passing comet, which was then thrust into Gaia's orbit. It collided with Gaia in such cataclysmic and devastating violence that she shattered, part of her broke off, her blood and guts thrown into space shrouded the planet in a dust cloud, and our planet was left wounded, divided from a part of her, severed forever. That severed part of Gaia is still with us, however. Her name is Luna. She is the moon we have today."
         "WHAT?" Zara protested out loud.
"So the legends say" he replied. "The moon is a part of Gaia, she is a part of us all, she isn’t alive or dead, she is the Undead. No one really knows how this magic truly happened, so no one knows how to help her. Her Phoenix Flame is trapped in the Darkness, all she can emit now is a reflection of it."
A chill ran down Zara's spine for what reason she knew not, since she didn't believe any of it to be true. Zara liked Jasun and she had agreed to be open minded, but this really was going too far. Even though it seemed like these people were sincere, this story was clearly rubbish. She wasn't so stupid as to believe them and was realizing now why Atalon called them Lunies. They preached this ridiculous Luna story. That they believed this silly garbage to be true enough to preach to their guests was disturbing, times two. Lost once again in the fog of fiction and belief, her gaze wandered across the room toward the stone egg. What did the egg have to do with it all?
"Elon almost destroyed Gaia completely" Jasun expanded. "Around here, everything was destroyed, Solaria was destroyed, the only Intelligent Beings who survived the War of the Gods were Nummo who had found shelter in the depths of the sea, and the Beings who made their way into the safety of the underworld in time, where they too were trapped in the Darkness for a very long time."
Zara couldn't ignore his amphibious hands as he spoke of mermaids and water, trying to open her mind. Could it be true? She wasn't hallucinating, every time she looked at him his hands looked the same.
Why not? If Aquilla was possible, wasn't anything possible? It was beginning to dawn on her that there was much she didn't know. The truth was, she had always wondered what the moon was doing there, and until today she had never heard a thing about it, there were no myths or historical facts about the moon in her text books, up until now the moon had always just been the moon. A lump of rock in the sky, reflecting the light of the sun. Once again the unbelievable was making the unbelievable seem believable. Even though the story was so ridiculous this alternative version of history offered some light on difficult questions she dared not think about, let alone ask.
"Eventually the survivors of Solaria recovered from the cataclysm and rebuilt what was left of the city" Jasun continued. "Then Luna found her own orbit around Gaia, turning the reflected energy into power and that new energy helped accelerate the efforts of the Solarians once again. With this new Lunar energy, Gaia eventually escaped Elon's orbit and found her way back to Netu's Light, still unwitting of the Archonic seeds, albeit weakened, that had accidentally been sown in their flight.
Once they reached her Light, Gaia and Luna settled into a rhythmical orbit around Netu once again. Once again Solaria became a rich and Golden Civilization, once again it blossomed with arts, music, culture, science, knowledge and creation.
And Sapparu was a great king" Jasun continued. "He was a noble and a wise ambassador of Truth, Freedom and Love, there were no slaves, no one was hungry, there was no suffering that could be ended, there was Creation and Knowledge for all living Beings on Gaia. Crime and Evil were myths of the Archons, stories of their lost planet, these were told as warnings, in allegorical ways, for Sapparu knew how easy it had been to fool those who did not want to know, for deep down he knew, as long as Elon still roamed the Universe, so would the Archonic Spirits.
And while the Golden Civilization blossomed with Truth, Freedom and Love, Elon fell into exile, weakened by the loss of resources as one by one the sibling planets followed suit, riding the wake of Gaia's journey and following her back to Netu's Light. As Elon was banished to the outer limits of the galaxy, her light faded away. Harmony was finally restored in Netu’s family and the Phoenix Spirit ruled the galaxy once more..."

Jasun took a deep breath. "And then it happened. As the people of Solaria basked in the abundance of Netu's Light, three Star people left the safety of the Golden Civilization to explore the countryside around them. Along the way, they were seduced by exotic sounds and found themselves on the shores of a lake. They succumbed to the temptations of the crystal clear waters, where the Archonic Spirits were trapped within, now strengthened by this new reflected Lunar light. As the Star people swam out into the depths, three Archonic Spirits impregnated their souls. When they finished bathing in the lake, they carved a new trail, instead of taking the old trail back to Solaria, the first Archonic People climbed high up the mountain to a cave overlooking the Golden Civilization that was no longer their home. The New Archons had arrived. The oldest and strongest Archon was called Medel, his Archene sister was called Vina, and the youngest was Barduk."
"WHAT?" Zara slammed her cup down, shocked. "MEDEL? An ARCHON? A STAR PEOPLE???"
"An Archonic Star People" Jasun corrected. "Yes, I'm afraid so."
Zara's face was white, almost luminous like the Unicorn. "That's NOT TRUE!"
